Dar Alf Leila wa Leila is a pioneer of online journalism in
Lebanon. La Revue du Liban was the first and only online news magazine in
Lebanon on the Internet for more than seven months.
CNN's web site includes Monday Morning and La Revue du Liban as permanent media links for further information about the Middle East. Internet search engine, Yahoo!, has also indexed these publications in its News and Media/Magazines section. ![]() La Revue du Liban is the only magazine with a cyber-column dedicated to new technology and the Internet. Throughout its evolution, "Cyber Route" has informed readers about current events and trends in the networked universe. ![]() It also offers exclusives, such as the interview with newsmaker Professor Nicholas Negroponte, the cyber-prophet, Director of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Media Lab. Negroponte is author of the book, Being Digital, and editor at WIRED magazine. In 1996, La Revue du Liban received Le Prix de la Francophonie at the French Sénat, which was awarded to Melhem Karam by René Monory. |
